By employing the simple two tone colours of a Zebra pattern, we were able to create a stylish and striking look affording a distinctive individuality to our rooms.
We went to great effort to decorate the rooms with long black draping curtains and authentic African wall hangings such as South African Zulu shields, wonderful tribal masks and stunning faux Zebra hides, which are hung on white washed wooden colonial style walls enhancing the hotels African appeal.
These wonderfully spacious and bright rooms have as their centrepiece a four poster hand carved teak bed. With long draping silk curtains, an abundance of cushions, and crisp cotton sheets, these romantic beds ensure a dreamy nights sleep.
For the beds look we researched many different types and styles of colonial and tropical designs which would complement the rooms African theme. Eventually we selected elements from several different bed types to give us our own unique design, plus adding some of our own features, like the curved headrest, to ensure the uppermost comfort for our guests. All we’re then handmade locally from solid teak.
The room’s large bathroom has a walk-in shower, Indonesian stone bowl basin, and a beautiful surface top hand carved from native Pochote wood.
On arrival you’ll find fresh tropical flowers placed in your room, and if you would like we can also arrange a bottle of champagne to greet you for a special occasion.
Set to a high standard these rooms more than cater for the modern traveller’s needs and requirements.
